A City Break: Birmingham

Last weekend we set off to Birmingham for a few days, we stayed in the heart of Solihull and ventured towards the city to see what it has to offer. I've not really seen much of the country apart from the one off trips to the West Country, Wales and the occasional visits to London. I've always wanted to venture up north towards places like Liverpool, Manchester as well as Newcastle and Edinburgh.

But anyway it's safe to say that if you like shopping like me. Obviously. Then the shopping in Birmingham is next level. In the city centre they have The Bullring which is the main shopping centre and honestly I could of spent a LOT of money, thankfully we were too busy searching for the nearest pub to look around properly so my bank account wasn't damaged too much. Although the Zara there is out of this world!!!! I literally wanted to move in. Why are shops always better somewhere else than they are at home? It really bugs me! They also had many shops in the high street part of the town, everywhere you turned there was either a shop or a pub, having a gin stop whilst shopping, what could be better?

We also headed to Broad Street which is also a big attraction in the heart of Birmingham. It is filled with restaurants, bars and clubs and is known to be a vibrant place to go on a night out. We tried out a few bars as well as a Pornstar Martini, or 4, and found a Gin Bar (my type of bar!!). We even got to see St. Andrews which is the home to Birmingham City FC.

It safe to say I would definitely venture up north again, (yes Birmingham is up north for southern folk like me) and do a lot of shopping and drink a lot of gin, which is my idea of heaven, and obviously me being me couldn't go anywhere without a mini photo shoot, aka, my mum taking pictures of me while I pose at train stations (good old mum) and having weird men stare at me. Blogger life.

Until next time. Georgia xxxxx

Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Boux Avenue

If you don't already know then October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is something very close to my heart. I've teamed up with the babes at Boux Avenue to raise awareness as they are going into their second year of partnership with Breast Cancer Care, with the aim of raising at least £50,000 this year for the amazing charity. Throughout October, Boux Avenue will be donating 10% of all sales from the Aimee and Reagan bra styles, with customers also having the option off adding a £1 donation to their purchases online and in store. Boux Avenue and Breast Cancer Care hope to raise awareness particularly in younger women, of the importance of regularly checking for signs and symptoms of Breast Cancer. If you have any worries or concerns make sure you go to your doctor or you can visit the Breast Cancer Care's website here. www.breastcancercare.org.uk.

Blazers & Bodysuits

As Autumn is fast approaching I thought I'd do another outfit post! I've been slacking on the outfit posting recently but here goes! I recently went to Primark and spotted this cute blazer and I'm literally in love with it. I love wearing it with denim jeans and wearing heels to really dress it up, the blazer even looks cool with an all black outfit to smarten it up a bit. I think blazers are my new obsession as I literally want them in EVERY colour, I'm trying really hard to refrain myself from buying a load at the moment.
Hope you like it. Links at the bottom xxxxx

A Night In With Boux Avenue

So recently I was contacted by the lovely babes at Boux Avenue, who asked me to work with them and be a Brand Ambassador. Obviously, I said yes and as a result I'm going to be sharing with you my favourite pieces from their latest collections over the upcoming months. Including this pyjama set, I love nothing more than comfy, lightweight PJ's to change into after I've been out all day and these are just the cutest! I also have my own discount code for you  (GEORGIAC20) which you can use on their website, they have some fab pieces at the moment including these pyjamas! I have linked them at the bottom if you want to grab yourselves them!

7 items in my ASOS basket at the moment

If you're like me you will scroll through Asos a good 8 or 9 times a day and every time you add something to your basket that you are longing for. I seriously get withdrawal symptoms if I haven't been on it all day haha. Here I've added some items that have been in my basket for the past couple of weeks, I just need to take the plunge and buy them, but I am trying very hard to be on a spending ban (oops). What's in your Asos basket at the moment?

Double Gingham

Unless you've been living under a rock you'll know that gingham is everywhere at the moment and I think its my favourite trend ever!!!! Anything monochrome is a bit of me, this cute ruffle sleeved top is from Missy Empire and the skirt is from Pretty Little Thing.
